Saturday at the local monthly gun show, I picked up a Kahr P9 w/trijicons and a Comp-Tac "Shirt Tucker" holster to carry it in. This little pistol is surprisingly comfortable in my hands and I found no problem handling Cor-Bon's HOT 115gr +P rounds out of it. I took it to the range today and put 150 rds of FMJ and 20rds of Cor-Bon's through it without a single burp. Off hand out to 15 rds I was able to keep all rounds within the 10 ring of a B27 target slow fire while speed drills had rounds venturing out to the 9 ring. The trigger is silky smooth reminding me of my early S&W revolver shooting days. Though it's nowhere near as accurate as my Glock 30 that also sent rounds down range today (And continues to amaze me how well it groups for being a box stock pistol), I expect to see it's groups shrink as I get more used to it's double action like trigger.
Comp-Tac's "Shirt Tucker" Kydex holster fit's the little Kahr perfectly and disappears under a tucked in shirt, but not without a little effort. It'll take time to get used to tucking the shirt over the holstered pistol and into the slot between the holster and belt loop, but it does work as advertised. When not using the "Tucked In" feature, I found I can wear my normal sized clothes and still hide the P9 comfortably. The little pistol just disapears under just about anything I tried on that had a shirt tail long enough to drape below the belt-line. I was also able to wear my tighter fitting jeans and slacks with no discomfort which is a BIG plus in my book. This is the second Comp-Tac holster I've bought and IMO it's a tossup between their offerings and Blade-Tech's for fit and function. I highly recommend them as an economical alternative.
