Kahr MK9: get standard mdl or Elite?

I've decided to pick up an MK9, but am waivering on whether to get the model with the standard trigger pull, or to go for the Elite model with the shortened trigger pull.

Anyone got some experiences they would care to share?

I personally would get the Elite...I love the polished look and the trigger is nicer. I shoot a k40 quite often and love the gun..the trigger takes some getting used to if I dont shoot it for a while...

Shoot well

Elite 98...absolutely...minor difference in price...major difference in aesthetics and performance...the polished slide looks much better, and the trigger is much lighter and smoother...when I bought mine it was less than $100 difference (I don't remember exactly as it has been a while). I have a K9 and an MK9...both Elite 98...great guns...best guns in their size range...PERIOD!!!

Elite. You'll want the shorter trigger pull and it's cheaper and easier to get it now than to retrofit.

Get the Elite. I bought a used MK9 with the standard trigger and I will convert it to the Elite trigger. It would also be nice to have the polished SS slide. You'll love it.

The Elite trigger group is an improvement. I recommend it.

It isn't necessary, per se, just an improvement.

FWIW, I called Kahr arms and the most recently produced MK9 Elite 98's have serial #'s GB9XXX.

Has anyone had experience with the MK Elite 2000 as far as quality of finish and how it would hold up to holster rash?

Have a day!

The Elite trigger on the Kahr guns is WORTH the extra ca$h. I have a Covert in 9MM and an MK in both 9MM & .40. Only my MK9 has the Elite trigger. Wish the other 2 did.

IMO, the all metal Kahr pistols are some of the best vest-pocket pistols available. The Elite trigger makes them even better.
