Kahr Elite Trigger

It's got a shorter pull, by 1/16th inch or so.
Some say it's lighter. others heavier, yet others say smoother than the "standard" trigger.

Having a basis for comparison between my Kahr MK9 "standard" and a new MK9 Elite (just picked up today), I'd say the "standard" trigger is DEFINITELY smoother! There's a little bit of stacking with the Elite trigger that is wholly absent from the regular trigger.

Maybe the new one will smooth out after awhile, but even after shooting over 200 NATO spec rounds through it today to help break it in, the standard MK9 trigger still wins for now.

Best.

The Elite trigger takes the pull length from 1/2" to 3/8" and the ones Ive played with are smoother and lighter. I cant comment on the new production...the 98's are sweet.
Shoot well

I highly recommend the Elite trigger. My two Elite triggers (K9 and MK9 both Elite 98) are shorter, lighter, smoother, and just plain sweeter than any standard Kahr trigger I have ever felt. For the minor price difference, I wouldn't even consider a non-Elite. I can't comment on Sawbones experience as I have not handled his guns. But I can say that from my experience, what he describes is not the norm.

My Kahr P40 trigger WAS lighter and smoother than my wife's MK9 or the other 2 kahrs I've owned. But after the "walking trigger pin" fix, it's not as light since arriving back from the factory. It's still shorter, and I still like it, but it's definitely heavier now.

Even so, the elite trigger is worth it (to me) as I can feel the difference in the shorter, slightly smoother pull. I'm considering having the elite trigger put in her MK9 as well, to make it a tiny bit closer to the workings of her Glock 19 nightstand gun.
