Kahr Elite Trigger

Does anyone have any experience with it? I have a K40 and am thinking about installing an Elite Trigger system in it. I understand it is supposed to be lighter, with a shorter pull.

It's worth the $$ in parts - but installation can vary a great deal. It's not lighter, just shorter. You're just moving the trigger bar connection farther away from the trigger pivot point. Therefore the trigger bar moves farther for the same trigger pull. It does have a nicer feel IMHO.

Question: is the Elite trigger OK in a pants pocket without a holster, or is it too light for that? Thanks.

I won't put any gun in a pants pocket without a holster, regardless of the weight of the trigger. I carry my S&W 642 in a pocket holster. I carry my Kahr MK9 Stainless Elite in a pocket holster.

But as others have said, the Elite trigger is no lighter than the standard trigger. The difference is that the stroke is shorter.

Thanks everyone for your response. Shorter is the key element. Kahr's DAO pull is pretty light and smooth to begin with.
