Has anyone upgraded their non-elite trigger to the elite trigger? Customer service wrote: The parts that are required are the Elite Trigger (only available in stainless), trigger spring, and trigger spacer. The cost for the parts is $45 plus S&H.

Is that it? Doesn't need a new cam or striker?

Were the results as nice as the factory elite trigger?

Thanks, M

Turns out these parts are only $20 + $5 shipping. Customer service confirmed nothing else is needed.

If you look at the pictures on their web site: http://www.kahrshop.com/parts_k9e.html
the elite trigger and the regular trigger have different piviot-to-spacer relationships. I guess the elite trigger has a longer lever action and moves the trigger bar faster than the regular lever. Will probably make the trigger pull a bit heavier though. As long as it feels as nice as the factory elite trigger.

I've replaced my trigger with the elite 2 years ago. As I recall, the cost was somewhere around $50, incl. shipping. Parts consist of the elite trigger(of course), spring, and spacer.
Hardest part of the job is pushing out the trigger pivot pin- I made a small press using a gear puller. The pivot pin is a tight fit in the frame. Make sure you press it out the right way-one end has a larger diameter(it has a head on that end).
I was very pleased with the results. You are right about the trigger pull increasing, but it is only slightly increased. The pull to striker release it shorter and much more crisper. It increased acuracy for me. As an added benefit, for me at least, is that the trigger reach is slightly increased, and the trigger doesn't go back as far when fully pulled.
One more thing, if you do it yourself- polish the trigger face and sides first, before you assemble it.
