I am having an issue deciding which kahr to buy. I am looking for your input. Basically I'm looking for a 9mm in the 300 t0 350 range. I don't like the sdv9, or any hi points, taurus no thanks

If it must be a polymer Kahr, then CW9 for CC.
The Canik TP9 SA looks good for range/HD.
There are also the CZ clones from Turkey (can't remember the brand - maybe Canik, maybe Tristar).

You may want to specify purpose. It will help greatly to narrow down suggestions.

I think the TP9 is better for capacity, but parts and accessories are a little harder to come by. The Kahr is slimmer and intended more for concealed carry than range/HD.

Have you considered the Ruger SR9E?

Are we talking a Kahr TP9? If so, I'd go with it over the CW9 if just for the better, polygonal, barrel.

I have a CW-9 never had any problems with it. That said the KelTec PF-9 gets more carry . I like the longer trigger pull of the KT and fact has a hammer . Old fashion I guess . It also smaller and lighter than the CW-9

Get the CW9. I have two and both have been flawless.

In regards to the PF9 and CW9 size wise, dimensionally, the CW9 may be bigger but it is so small a difference they are virtually identical. I had a PF9 and sold it once I got it running right.

Guys, read his post carefully.

I am having an issue deciding which kahr to buy.

He's asking about he Kahr TP9 or CW9.

Regardless I find the K9/CW9 size to fit my large hands surprisingly well. Some people tend to shoot the compacts better than full size pistols, such as Glock 19 vs 17.

I have carried and shot a CW9 for over 5 years, even in competition, it's a good platform. Long trigger, but you adjust to it.

I actually enjoy shooting my TP more than my T. The T trigger guard rubs my middle finger knuckle in a way the TP does not. Otherwise they are the same to shoot.
