I've found the stiffer the recoil spring the more it tames it. You only rack it once and from that point firing it the last time leaves the slide open. From there you swap mags, release the slide, chamber, and keep shooting. The Kahr trigger is much better than many others for me due to it being a least 30% shorter and almost half the weight pull in this class.
I sold the first gen LCP because of trigger pull, high recoil smartness, and no last round hold open. There are always tradeoffs but for the most part we can't seem to get them all. I would rather deal with a higher effort slide than high effort recoil, you deal with the slide once in a string of magazines, the recoil every shot.
