I've been a member of this forum for the past few months now. You all have contributed to my firearm education, giving me advice and an archive to search to find out almost every answer I've ever needed. For that I am greatful. Thank you to all.
I've stated in many and various posts, that I do own firearms. In fact, I used to have them all listed in my signature line. Those five I've mentioned in the past may seem limited, a small collection to say the least, but you have to admit it's pretty good for a gun who had ZERO at the beginning of this passing year.
However, with the passing of the House and Senate, I'm afraid paranoia has gotten the better of me. Now that I've publically admitted I own firearms, I feel like it would be very simple for any politicial group/ law agency to search these forums and target my firearms for confiscation. It would be easy since there is a list right here of what I've got.
I want to take the oppertunity to go on record. In order to protect myself from illegal search and seizure, I want to publically state that I own no firearms. After this change in Washington, I felt the time was right to move on and sell everyone of my guns. It was all done in private party sales, legally, in the state of NV, to registered NV citizens. I probably should've given receipts to prove I sold them all, beyond a shadow of a doubt, but I suppose I forgot to think about that.
So, in closing, I publically own no firearms. I would like to continue to be a member here, contributing when I can, and just reading many of the experiences shared by the members. Now, it might SOUND like I still have firearms in my future posts. But for now, in this post, I can assure you that I have no firearms.
No, you can't look in my room, just believe me that they're all gone.
Thank you for this space to post this self-defensive, legal public notice.
