Title says it all. Spent the day in CCW training to get my certificate. 8 hours in the store, then out to the boonies to get the qualifying in.
Ran thirty rounds thru my G17 and out shot most of the guys there (only one with no flyers outside of the big ring on a silhouet, only 2 inside that ring, and those 2 werefrom the 3rd distance. The rest were center mass). I had only shot at small circle targets before, and never in a firing line situation. It was an exhilirating experience!
However, before I could qualify with the G26, Bersa Thunder, and Kel-Tec P-32, a wild fire nearby had really started to flare up. Our group decided to high tail it out of there so we didn't get surrounded.
Qualifying with the other firearms on next Sunday.
