I am on travel to San Jose, California.

I have been to CA a dozen times before but never tried this:

It is darned difficult to find a magazine about firearms in CA. Penthouse, Playboy, probably the newsletter for the KKK are easily available. but no firearms magazines.

What have we done to ourselves?

California

Want to tour their correctional facilities.

Strap on a handgun, light a cigarette, and wait for the police to arrive.

Greece, Riots and IMF and FED

Greece is having Riots, they are burning the banks and attacking government buildings. The militarized police are shooting the rioting people.

California has strict gun laws for a reason, because they are bankrupt and what is happening in Greece is a hair's breath away from happening ... in California.

In my humble opinion.

As a native of the Republik of Kalifornia all I can say is: sha na naa na, hey hey, goodbye! I grew up in Santa Barbara. Beautiful city. Oh well, Orlando is nice too.

The sooner Kalifornia goes bankrupt the better. I went about as far as I could get away from that place.

Damn, I hope they don't get a bailout. They'll just drag us all down under with them. While they do they'll be singing Kumbuya while boycotting Arizona.

I hear the same thing from my dad, Doc, from the time he hits Indio in October until he comes back to Idaho in June.

The house is for sale...they're going to go to San Antonio for the winters starting next season.

Hardcase, Where in Idaho? I'm a local out here in Weiser (named after Peter Weiser from the Lewis and Clark "Voyage of Discovery".

I'm closing this one. Other than griping about not seeing a gun magazine in a state that's probably the most obvious to have this experience, there's no need to keep this open. It's already turning into a gripefest.

Closed.
