Just Sent in My FFL

Hi All,

Just sent in my FFL. I have to say, the most aggravating part was finding a ".com" name for the company i'm setting up. The amount of "squatting" with gun related .com names is ridiculous. I literally spent 3 hours with my thesaurus trying to find something that was available.

I finally settled on weapondeal.com...not my first choice, but i didn't feel like spending 50K on a domain name.
 
When did a dot com name become a requirement for getting a FFL? Just curiuos/

I just read the license form and no where did I find a question about a Dot. Com. name.
Now I'm really confused??????:confused:

Hi Don,

Sorry about the confusion. You don't need a .com to get the ffl. I want to sell online and so i wanted to have everything planned out before I went through the whole process. So before I filled out the application I made a business plan and started looking for ".com" names. That was what took the longest.

So don't worry! The application itself isn't that bad.
