This gun is a little beauty. It has some very nice walnut and I even like the matte blue finish. I really wanted to buy something like an SKB, Red Label or the Franchi Rennaissance (sp?) but decided to save that for my retirement from the Coast Guard. In the meantime this 20 gauge will do nicely for quail and pheasant at my next duty station. Too bad I won't have much of a chance to shoot it between now and my transfer.

Good selection by choosing the 48. Nice gun. I have never owned one but have used a 20 bore a few times that belogs to my cousin, it has never had a feeding problem. I wish the gun was mine.
Also, I own a Franchi "R-gun" O/U, in 12 bore. Nice for field carry on the pheasant grounds. Mine has not had the reset misfire iss ue some have had. I guess I'm lucky. Bottomline: you need one of those too
