By over 1700 votes, which I believe is about the same as the first time. Just thought you should hear it here first.

I just saw that press conference too. Problem is, Palm Beach Cty is going to take their time and refuse to certify their recount until they have finished rigging, uh, recounting the ballots this Saturday. The Secretary only listed certified recounts, and Gore gained over 700 in that county on the recount. It's going to be a while...

I wonder if the military votes have been tabulated yet. Odd as hell that the military, with the most extensive network in the world, the fastest airplanes in the world, etc. Can seem to loose these papers of all things. If I were a suspicious man, I'd think this was deliberate.

Remember, "I loathe the military"? Different end of the donkey this time around.

The topic post is incorrect. Those results were not a result of a completed count, but what had been tallied and certified with about 52 of 67 districts counted. The uncertified count with 64 districts tallied shows Bush only up by 362 votes.

Unfortunately folks, the outcome of this vote is going to have nothing to do with the polls, but will likely be decided by the courts in Florida because Gore cannot be dignified in defeat. Children arguing over toys have more integrity than this man.
