Muzzle loading season started saturday here in south Ga and I had a succesful opener bagging a 200lb 5 pointer. When I was getting out of my climbing stand i was just a hair higher than I thought and ended up falling a couple feet on my back and on my gun. Luckily I wasn't very high so I only got a bruise on my leg from where it hit the stand on the way down. When I got home I realized that half of the front sight on my optima was broken off. Well I just got off the phone with cva and because it was my stupid fault it didn't fall under warranty repair but the very nice representative offered to upgrade my plastic sights to a metal set for only $10.00. I checked out their website and they sell them there for $34.95. CVA is an excelent company and I will buy from them again. This is my second CVA muzzleloader and it won't be my last.
