Just got an 870 Express Super Mag 12

And it's great! Fit and finish are really good, especially for an Express. It functions smooth and looks great. No rough edges, smooth chamber etc.

I plan to use it for waterfowl and turkey, and I'm really happy for the price I paid. Looks like I got a good one. This is my first 870 after wanting one for years.

Now if I can just get a Wingmaster in 16 ga I will be a happy camper!

Anyone know of a source for cheap 18.5 in. matte barrels??

GOT A 20 INCH BBL COMING I FOUND ON www.gunsnet.net for $55
its only a 3in though.
sure hope it works (most have said yea)
do a search for bbls. most are over a hundred

i have the same exact 870...

I recently bought a 870 Supermag (synthetic) with a 28" bbl.

I bought a Mossberg (yes Mossberg) 18.5" barrel (2.5, 3", no 3.5") for about $80 on Cabelas. -- Mossberg makes aftermarket barrels for the 870.
