Just got a G20 today!!

Hello All,

I have been visiting The Firing Line for some time and have benefited greatly from the wealth of knowledge that one can access here, thank you. I come to TFL for reloading info mainly and to read about different handguns.
I finally got the weapon that I have read a bunch about and I have to concur that these Glock 20s Rock!! I paid 500.00 for it. The guy I got it from had it in his safe for five or so years and had only put a box through it; the gun is mint. It came with 2 hi-cap mags, 5 boxes of 180g Black Talons, 2 boxes of Hydra shocks, a soft case and a holster. I am very happy with it. I can't believe how accurate it is right off the bat.
I have 500 pieces of Starline brass and 500 180g Rainier Platted HPs on the way. I just can't decide on a powder. I read that Blue dot, Accur#9 and Power Pistol are good powders, any other suggestion?

Dont know as far as handloading goes but welcome to TFL. Have you gone to the search bar and inquired about the reloading question? The search engine on here works great. Oh by the way, welcome also to the Dark Side. (Glocktalk)

My 10 mm powder preference is Accurate Arms. Although which one really depends on the bullet weight, I’ve been in a happy rut with Accurate No. 7. Accurate Arms will send you a free reload manual if you ask: http://www.accuratearms.com/home.html

Congrats on the new G20. I have been wanting one for a long time and they seem very hard to find these days. I just ordered one from the Glockmeister and am eagerly anticipating the arrival of my brand spankin' NIB glockzilla. I'll be interested in trading reloading recepies in the future.
