Most of mine tend to be 10-12 D/A and 4-5 S/A. Those are all S&W's.

Thats pretty average.My Taurus and Eaa windicator both have 12lb D/A and 5-6lb S/A.

My last J-frame was a lawyer satisfying 16lbs out of the box. I never even bothered taking it to the range, straight to the gunsmith. Now it is a user satisfying 12lbs, buttery smooth.

I have heard people tell me their triggers were modified for 5-6 D/A and
2-3 S/A. Is that bunk? Is it usual or necessary to have triggers that light?
