I just bought a new addition to my adiction
German Walther PPK/S in 9x17. Made in 1973. High polish blue slide. Almost no visible wear. I just finished giving it a bath and it looks perfect inside! Mirror bore and such.
It was not cheap ($500), but these days there are no bargians in MA.
The guns is MUCH better made then US made stainless PPK/S I used to have. That was a total waste of cheap cast parts. It would not go through a single mag without jamming. Extractor used to last 500 rounds. Metal was so soft it was disgusting.
I did, however sell it for more money then I paid for it
I will be using this gun for ocasional CCW, if reliability test will be completted sucsesfuly. Roght now, the only none-1911 guns I carry with confidence is my "hell pair" (HKP7M8 and S&W 342Ti) and Kahr K40 stainless once in a while. Makarov lurks in on ocasion.
