They pay XXXX amount because the Full Auto market has a fixed source, so demand dictates that prices go up.

You CAN NOT make a new gun (or really any gun now) FA, the registry is closed now and no new autos for the regular masses.

In light of this you could learn to bumpfire, a lot cheaper and almost as fun.;)

I just bought a Chevy Lumina For $25000. Can Some one tell me how to turn it into a racecar. I don't know why those NASCAR people pay so much for their cars when I got one for so much less and convert it.
 
And why on earth would someone pay $3500 dollars for a f/a mac when they can buy a knockoff for $300 and convert it to f/a yourself

Oh gee, I don't know. Maybe because spending 10 years in federal prison doesn't appeal to them?
