I just aquired a Pietta Model 1858 New Army Stainless .44 revolver. :D This is my first pietta to the collection. Uberti's are the norm in my collection but this one popped up here locally unfired LNIB.

I ordered a DD Big Lube Tower of Power loading stand so i'm sure this pistol will see some smoke real soon! I also have a Uberti 1860 that is unfired that will be making the trip along side.

Nice looking gun straight-shooter! I recently aquired an E.N.Santa Barbara .44 1858, in blue, also unfired- Lnib. These 58's are real nice shooters and alot of fun.Where did you get the loading stand? I'm new to bp pistol shooting, and would appreciate any info on where to get stuff like that, etc..
 
Could you tell us the proof date code which is two letters in a box located on the frame?
I can't make it out in the photo.

I have a unfired blue Ruger Old Army that is so gorgeous, i just keep it for a display only. Eventually I'll get another for range use. Blasphemy some might say but it is what it is. If Ruger were still making them i'd be shooting it but one day it will be a classic, if it's not already.
