I have been bleeding The Cosmelene out of my Yugo Mauser Stock, and just about have it all.
I have been placing it on a Black Trash Bag in My Car, this Weekend.
It gets Very Hot in There with the windows up. Its a Black Car.
I go out every thirty minutes or so, and wipe the Cosmo off with Some Blue Automotive Paper Towells and Alcohol.
The Stock is starting to get very dry and chalky looking, less Cosmo is leaking out, just a coupld of spots.
Is there any way to protect this wood without sanding it?
I dont want to sand off the historical markings.
