Yep, I ordered mine,,,
It was actually a bit of serendipity,,,
A member from another forum knew I wanted a 4" R98,,,
It is the revolver I selected to pair up with a Savage Mk-IIF Rifle.
I had given up and just 2 weeks ago ordered a Ruger Mk-III as it's mate,,,
But when I got his message I didn't hesitate even one minute,,,
I put mine on order before they disappeared again.
Now my Mossberg 702 Plinkster has a new case-mate,,,
I like this pairing much better anyways,,,
Semi with semi and wheel with bolt,,,
It just seems more natural.
Just in case anyone is wondering why this is a good post,,,
That little Rossi is a very nice little revolver,,,
Approximately J-frame with 8 rounds,,,
It's a very pleasant shooter.
The pistol was $278.00 + $8.34 for credit card fee,,,
$3.00 for shipping insurance and $13.90 for Buds lifetime warranty,,,
The total price came to $303.24 + an additional $20.00 for a transfer fee.
That's not bad at all for a decent plinking revolver.
People ask why I always buy the Buds warranty,,,
It's because the warranty also covers the shipping cost,,,
That's a $70.00 savings if it ever needs to be sent in for repair.
Anyways, that's my story.
Thanks for posting the heads up Targa.
