Judge rules voter-approved S.F. handgun ban is illegal

The case was a slam-dunk. It didn't take any balls on the part of the NRA to proceed against the city.

Why can't they sue over laws where the legal issue is more murky? Afraid of losing, I guess.
 
Even with the "slam-dunk" the legal fees easily goes into 6 or 7 figures. Remember, every thing is more expensive in CA, guns, ammo, houses, lawsuits for civil liberties...
 
Over $2 million dollars it cost San Francisco in legal defense fees in this exercise. An absolute waste.
