GEICO INSURANCE IS ANTI-FIREARMS

You've heard the expression, "Put your money where your mouth
is." If GEICO Indemnity Co. (http://www.geico.com/) is your
insurance carrier for your car, home, motorcycle, boat, etc.,
seriously consider paying your premiums to an insurance company
that keeps its nose out of your home and gun safe. As an NRA
Life Member, I asked NRA (http://www.nraila.org/) about their
listing GEICO on their page of corporations that are anti-firearms
ownership. I received this response:

GEICO is on our list because, a few years back, an article in
its policy holder magazine recommended that all firearms be
removed from the home, and children should never be allowed to
touch a firearm. We attempted to get GEICO to retract its
statement, or at least offer another viewpoint, but to no avail.
Thus, it was added to our list. We'll see if we can track down
the offending issue of the magazine and send you a copy.

Sincerely,

Anthony Roulette [end]

GEICO, to date, has not issued a retraction. Why feed the hands
that want to disarm you? Contact GEICO at

http://www.geico.com/contactus/, or 1-800-841-3000.

If you are a policyholder of GEICO, demand to know whether they
stick to their statement that all firearms should be removed
from the home. Mention that your upcoming policy renewal may
well be determined by their response. GEICO advertises low
insurance rates. Can't find an insurer that can meet GEICO's
low rates? Do you treasure the Second Amendment? Put your money
where your mouth is!

The black civil rights movement in America began with a boycott
at a lunch counter. Will your insurance premium money make or
break GEICO? They are a huge corporation. Who's kidding who? But
it will hurt them! See the sidebar on GEICO's home page at

http://www.geico.com/index.jsp:

"Not long ago, Sonia Matos of Maryland became GEICO's 4
millionth policyholder. GEICO Chairman Tony Nicely said, "Our
low rates and good service helped us reach this milestone
very quickly." At this rate of growth, the 5 millionth GEICO
policyholder won't be far behind. It could be you!"

Even if you are not currently insured by this anti-gun
corporation, so long as GEICO supports an anti-gun agenda help
see to it that the 5 millionth policyholder ISN'T YOU!

Regardless of whether GEICO retracts their anti-gun nonsense in their quest for premiums, I would never do business with them anyway. Why?

Several years ago, Car & Driver told how GEICO decided that insurance rates were just too low in some areas, because the drivers drove safely, thus limiting GEICO's premiums and profits. GEICO "donated" a huge stack of radar/lidar guns to those jurisdictions, with hints that speeding tickets were a great way to enhance local government revenues. The jurisdictions used them, many tickets were written, and GEICO policy holders got a letter saying, "Sorry, but the number of traffic tickets in your area has gone up so much, it's been reclassified as higher risk, so we're raising your premiums".

IMHO, the management of GEICO are soulless buggers with dried ice where their hearts should be, and they would prostitute their 8 year old daughters to a gang of drug-crazed, AIDS-ridden serial rape-murderers for another percentage point on their profit margin.

That's why I have Erie Insurance.

Chances are he knows how to use it.

another point many don't know is Geico provides radars to departments that disclose who was using a radar detector while speeding. Once Geico get's notice that you got a speeding ticket and were using a radar detector they can cancel your insurance or raise it drastically. That's why they state in their policy that you can not use a radar detector.

This company is part of the Berkshire Hathaway Holding Company run by none other than Warren Buffet a noted anti-gun multi-billionaire businessman in the league of the George Soros types who have donated millions of dollars to the current litigation frenzy being visited upon the gun manufacturers.

How about progressive? their rates are about the same as geico and i got a ticket on my cbr600 and a week later one in my car and my premium didnt go up, when i renewed it this year it even dropped!!!

Several years ago it was reported that Geico paid its employees to write their representatives and request that legislation be passed outlawing radar detectors. I can no longer recall the source so take it FWIW.

Some years ago I worked for the Brown & Williamson tobacco company in Macon, Ga.

This was before they built their new data processing center near the factory, so they rented out a floor in the Geico building.

Geico had a no-smoking policy (didn't keep them from renting to the Great Satan though). No smoking was allowed in the building, only outside.

Part of the B&W agreement was that B&W's workers could smoke in the building on the floors that they rented. Next thing we knew, Geico workers were migrating to our floors, especially in cold weather.

Geico found out and threatened to terminate any of their workers found on our floor. Next, they banned smoking on the property itself, with the result that their workers had to take a looong walk to the property's edge for a quick smoke.

My wife applied to them for a job, took one look at how their phone reps were monitored and kept in constant fear of their supervisors, and backed off. We never heard a good word about Geico from anybody who worked there, which was validated by the horrendous turnover. They were never considered for my business just because of that, and now it's reinforced by their anti-gun stance.

I have to laugh (sardonically) when I see the "happy" phone reps in their current ads.
