Jones Recoil Pad Install

Just finished and did the first adjustment (not able to shoot with it till Thursday and will be my first time shooting since December I think).

This is a Beretta 3901 12ga synthetic.

But below are the pics.

Notes:
Hollow stock so I stuffed it with 3 paper sheets.
The screws to go into the stock were a bit long but the went in eventually.
$117 with some change for adjuster and kick-ez pad is rather spendy (but cheaper than a new gun)

Wow, I didn't know that Kick-Eez made a pad that thin. Nice job, but why didn't you trim the stock so you could take advantage of a thicker recoil pad? I can understand not wanting to trim a high grade wood stock; but, plastic is plastic.

The reason for the paper is to hold up and support the metal slider you use to adjust the placement of the pad so it does not fall into the stock.

I did not think of trimming to stock for a bigger pad... But some pad is better than none like before.

I think I understand. I need to get something like that but son't want to cut a wood stock. How much did it change your the length of your stock with that pad?

I used the 1/2inch recoil pad.

Total length from the stock is about 22mm (adding numbers from their website).

It ended up adding maybe a quarter inch to the LOP which is also about what I wanted.
