I got my membership at a gun show for $25.00 with the magazine, Im not sure if they do that at all the shows or not.

The NRA is promoting a Millennium Membership Drive. New Memberships are $20. If you know any members please check with them, as they should have received this mailing. This special is being offered until 15Jan00.
Welcome aboard, we need as many new members as we can get. Though some say the NRA has lost some of its direction, it is still the Largest Organization supporting the 2nd Amendment.

yes NRA will take your check but...
they have one guy processing the new memberships and 2100 new members joining
each week. To keep up, he would have to
process 1 new membership every 60 seconds
and Ill be you it takes him 15 minutes per member at least on his best day! So he only processes 140 members a day. Hang in there,
he will eventually get to your application.
The last membership I signed up took two
months to process.
NRA starts your year on the day the membership is processed, but you are a free
complemently member while your application is waiting to be processed.
