if you're interested in a Jewell trigger for a colt AR with the sear block and have put it off because Jewells website says the sear block must be removed--then Rejoice--the block does not have to be removed. A buddy and i were planning to put in jewells and i had a machinist cut out my sear block since i had heard that it must come out. When i called Georgia Precision to order the triggers they told me that it was not necessary to remove it. When the triggers came we did mine first and it took about45-60 min minutes to follow the instructions and put it in and adjust it to 3.5 pounds..We then proceeded to put my buddies trigger into his rifle in less than 10 min and his still had the sear block in place.....Boy are those triggers great!!
