I just wanted some of you to share your experiences with purchasing a hand gun from jetguns.com. another question is where do they ship your handgun too? im a little old school and have never purchased a gun online  any help will be apreciated

The firearm has to be shipped to a gun store or someone who has a Federal Firearm License. You will have to pay the FFL person somewhere from $25.00 to $40.00 for this service. Those prices vary but $25.00 is the going rate around by me...

Where the pistol is shipped to is important. You have to comply with all laws of the state and that depends where you live...you can't have certain firearms shipped to certain states for example. California is a state where a handgun cannot have a magazine that holds more than 10 rounds...

Anyway....I have ordered several firearms online. It's pretty easy.

I'll just add something obvious -- standard procedure is for the licensed dealer in your city/state is to fax a copy of the license to the selling dealer before the seller ships. I have no experience with jetguns.com.

I've used Jetguns.com a number of times. Straight shooters, no surprises, & great deals.

I don't think many people know this but Budsgunshop and Jetguns used to be one company. They split a couple of years ago. (for those of us who still remember "in LEX" and "in Paris" tags on the Budsgunshop.com site.).

Go here to locate a local FFL Holder to process your transaction.

After you find one, call 'em to give introduce yourself and give them a heads up on your prospective order. Then go order the gun and call your FFL back to have 'em send over their License. Wait a few days, pay the transfer fee, and go home with your gun. That's it...

Wow! I live in Central Kentucky and knew they had split. I didn't know the Paris location had an online presence.

I don't think that's 100% accurate.Bud's had a store in both town's for a bit.Paris was Bud's Gun Shop and Lexington was Bud's Police Supply. They eventually combined the two stores and the online store which was completely separate business. The retail store is now know as The Gun Warehouse.

As far as Jet Guns goes.I haven't bought anything from them. One day I started getting emails from them.Turns out a former Bud's employee had a copy of Bud's customer email list and he gave it to Jet Guns. And their retail location is known as Smokin' Guns.

I have purchased 2 handguns from Jet Guns and have had very good communication and fast shipping both times, I was very satisfied with my experience. I will purchase more firearms from them when finances permit.

I am currently deployed on military duty for the Air Force Reserves. I'll get home at the end of the month and have been saving my pennies to buy a Taurus 445 and 605 from Jetguns when I get home. Glad to hear all the positive feedback. I have bought from Bud's in the past and they, too, have been first-rate.
