Jesse calls George W.

Heard on the news a little bit ago that Jesse Jackson called George W. early this afternoon.

I wonder how THAT conversation went.

"Mr. President-Elect, I was on your side the entire time. Everyone who says any different is simply out to discredit my ministry and the good deeds we do."

I imagine Rev. JJ has pretty well dug his grave with his mouth. Whatever he said today was probably the filling in...

I doubt he had the guts to reiterate his threats. Good odds that after he hung up, Dubya said something along the lines of, "Can you imagine the nerve of that guy?"

Do any of these creatures ever realize that in most of these countries where they go neck-hugging and cherishing, the same behavior when backing the wrong horse in a political race means "You're dead!"?

Hopefully, W couldn't understand a word he said.
I know it isn't politically correct to mention but Rev Jackson has a speech impediment.

Jesse Jackson is a nothing more than an opportunistic weasel who will lead his "people" down any socialist path as long as he gets credit for it and everyone pats his back. Instead of trying to fix what is broken in regards to race relations in this country... This idiot is making the gulf between us all even wider. I believe that I have more in common with a good, hardworking black man than I do with lazy, foul-mouthed white guy. In Jesse's world, I will always be the enemy and not to be trusted. Hopefully, he eats lots of fat and grease and will suffer a blockage one of these days. Well, one can dream.

From the outhouse to the White House...

Who cares what Jesse Babbling Jackson thinks, does, or says? If we just ignored him as if he were some incoherent, dishevelled, annoying street lunatic, we'd do a lot better, methinks.

The "REVERAND" JJ is a fine example of how power and money can and will corrupt one's personal belief structure. The Rev. does so little to increase love and patience, and so much to ensure his own little power base in the Democratic Party. The way the Dems use this guy is outrageous. They use him like a lapdog.

The fact that he is even taken seriously by America is silly as well.

I heard he called him, but ...

I also heard that he darn near called him a Nazi ...

Which is right about Jesse's speed these days. I go along with the school of thought that Jesse is a has been.

That's a nice thought, Munroe, but totally impractical.

We simply CAN'T afford to ignore Jesse.

Why?

Because he has the sympathetic ear of several million or more people, and as has been proven in the past, he can stir up a LOT of trouble that way.

What must be done, however, is to find a way to cut into his influence.

Having Colin Powell as Secretary of State and Condoleeza (sp?) Rice as National Security Advisor will do two things:

1. Put two INCREDIBLY qualified people in positions of great importance.

2. Put two INCREDIBLY qualified African Americans in positions of great importance in a Republican administration.

I have to agree with Mike Irwin on this one,

Jesse Jackson is dangerous, and needs to be PUBLICLY DISCREDITED...

He spews hate and division, and hides behind the "Race" card.

African Americans are our fellow man, and deserve better...

JMHO,

Howard

Two things here:

First, Rent-a-Riot Jackson is famous for stirring up the bonfire of hatred and walking away from the fire when it looks like it is to his advantage to do so.

I have been listening to C-SPAN and NPR a lot lately. The numbers of blacks phoning in and saying that they will never accept Bush regardless as to what Jackson says and that they feel that somehow Bush personally had something to do with any voting irregularities is staggering. Jackson's alledged "bridge building" is too little, too late.

Second, I believe that it is now the blacks themselves who are keeping the American people from coming together. I regularly see much more hatred and wish for separation coming from blacks than whites. I, for one, (speaking as a non-black) am more than ready to put our segregationist, bigoted history well behind us and accepting all people into an all-inclusive group of self-sufficient, proud Americans.

So long as Jackson, Sharpton and Farrakhan are the types of people leading the blacks, they will never become a real part of our "people". These three people are as bigoted and wrong minded as any Klansman or Jim Crowe supporting politician of the last century. (Only it is not PC to say that they are Bigots because that is a term reserved for whites only.)

I seem to remember one of the Dem politicos crying about troublemakers coming in from out of state . I'm sure Jesse has a West Palm Beach address . Don't he ????

Public Ridicule....

Disdain, ostracism, and ridicule are the only appropriate response to this fellow. Oh, of course he bears close watching, but it's high time folks started calling nonsensical, babbling incoherence by its proper name.

What a twit!
