Just heard on NPR news that Jerry Falwell believes that the right to own "assault weapons and machine guns" is wrong, and that the reason the kids in Littleton were targeted was for their evangelical christian beliefs.

He goes on to say that everyone has a right to a handgun and appropriate hunting rifles, but that's it.

What a buffoon.
 
Well, my 12-gauge has a pistol-grip stock and forend, and a slug barrel with fiber-optic sights.

So it's a handgun/hunting rifle combo. In the hands of an atheist, even.
