Jehrico 941/Baby Eagle will CZ75 mags work?

Does anybody know if CZ75 mags will fit/function in the 9mm Jehrico / Baby Eagle made by IMI? Or is some adjustment required?

The magazine catch notches between my CZ mags and my TZ (Tanfaglio, should be the same as your Jehrico/BE frame) mags were slightly off. When switched, the mags were either very loose or would be just short of seating properly. Since they are hi-caps, I don't want to 'modify' them.

Other posters, however, have had better luck than me. My situation could be merely due to production variations, tolerance stacking, etc.

Consiering that new CZ75 factory prebans go for about $45 from CZ-USA and that new IMI factory prebans sell for $40 from http://cdnninvestments.com why would you want to modify them? It can be done be it takes patience to modify the catch holes. Get some factory originals from CDNN before they run out.

Ahhh, but why modify them when you can get the hi-cap mags for these guns for cheap? When the hi-caps do dry up, the modded ones will lower values.

Don't get your point. If the originals are cheaper how does it make sense to buy more expensive non-factory mags and modify them? A modified mag loses its value, whether preban or not. Buying factory originals now makes a lot more sense. At least to me. ;)

Sorry Tecolote,

Re-read your initial post and you're saying essentially what I was thinking. Mis-read it the first time around. My second post was basically saying what you were saying the first time around. When I said 'hi-caps', I was referring to hi-cap factory mags.

Ron,

I'm just glad there's growing interest in the IMI pistols (Jeiricho, Baby Eagle, UZI Eagle). The only versions I despise, and this for purely cosmetic reasons, are the UZI Eagles. Why do they write the name in large white letters across the slide? It's a pistol not a bill board. All are reliable, accurate and fun pistols, however.

I've been kicking myself for not picking one up at the last show. NIB full size model, Hesco night sights, two factory 16 rounds pre ban mags, and sturdy plastic case for $379 (tax included).
