JC Higgins Model 41 .22 Rifle
I found this post while looking for parts/information on my JC Higgins Model 41 .22 rifle. The rifle was given to me by my brother. It fires without issue, but it will not eject the spent cartridge. Safety will also not work.
I took the receiver apart, and noticed there was absolutely nothing connected to the safety lever. This rife is supposed to automatically enable safety when the bolt is opened. I only saw the trigger and the trigger pin in the receiver housing.
The Marlin 101 doesn't appear to have safety. Does anyone know what parts I may be missing or where I can find the JC Higgins schematics? If anyone has a JC Higgins Model 41, I'd sorely appreciate if anyone could assist me.
