I've gotten a Higgins 2 c -- winchester 131 cross -- basic 22LR -- and was debating what would be the best scope for this? It has grooves in the receiver so I am assuming it will take standard dovetail mounts. Obviously, no need to put a $300 leopold scope on this. I was thinking maybe just a Tasco from Wally-World or one of those $29 surplus scopes from J and G. Any suggestions??
