Janz anyone?

Can anyone tell me about this company. They have some of the most amazing looking revolvers. What is there quality? How much can I expect to pay for one, and where in the heck can I find one. Would anyone buy one as a first revolver or are some of the more common revolvers a better choice.

P.S. how is Janz pronounced.

I have seen pictures of it in the past, but I don't know anything about it. I understand some German so I did a search. It seems the company that makes it is not so much a firearms maker as a producer of laboratory equipment and precision mechanics.

(English version didn't work when I tried it.)

I found a reference to the gun in a German article about revolver shooting, where the Korth was mentioned as a high end expensive match revolver and it went on to say something like "Then there is the exclusive and very rare Janz JTL revolver". I believe the Korth is in the $4,000-6,000 range. If the Janz is considered exclusive and rare compared to that, my guess is that quality is excellent, the price is high and that it is hard to find outside Germany...

Pronunciation would be something like "yants", with the "a" like in "bar" only shorter. That's my best attempt. Neither German nor English are Greek to me, but both are foreign languages, maybe someone else can give a more accurate discription of the sounds.

Thanks for the information. It seems I am unlikely to get this beautiful gun any time soon. It never hurts to dream though does it?
