Jacksonville, Fl TFL Members?

I've noticed a couple people responding to the various Jax threads that have been popping up here lately, and I'm just curious as to who lives here in the River City? I moved here 2 years ago and still don't know much of the city or what the local shooting haunts are.

Anyone interested in getting together and forming a local group?

Sounds like a winner Spark. I'm in.

I've been living here since ETS in 1992. And I still feel like a newbie at times. Ah but the work is good and the bills get paid.

I look forward to seeing who else is here as well. Feel free to use email to talk off line.

I unfortunately am cursed to live here. But I would love very much a get together.

DOC

Actually I live in Orange Park.

Sounds like you need to move out to the beach, DOC. I've lived in Jax Beach since the early '80s, except for a stint in the USAF.

Anyone can e-mail me anytime, if they want to pop a few caps. I usually shoot at Gateway in Orange Park. It's the ONLY outdoor place close to Mandarin that I know of. I shoot a Sigs in 45ACP, 9mm, 357Sig and .380 plus a Glock in 9mm and a 357Mag S&W. Just applied for CC today.

Cool, at least 4 people in the area... excellent!

I'm kind of in the middle, I live off Southside & Baymeadows - and I've got about 500 rounds of SS109, 300 rounds of .45, 400 rounds of .40 and 4000 rounds of .22lr just waiting to be used. I still need to get my CCW - I'm a lazy bastid I guess.

Any other Jax dwellers?

Anyone care to punch some paper this afternoon? I've never been to Gateway, so I may need tour of the place. But since the weather is foul today, the Gun Gallery may be the place to go. Anyone?

Gentlemen,

I'm from south Georgia, but only an hour away from Gateway. I've shot a few tournaments there and loved it. Wonderful atmosphere, and the most helpful group of shooters beyond my own tiny shooting circle. Two of my colleagues have participated in numerous Gateway action pistol and cowboy action tourneys. In fact, they are the ones who turned me on to pistol shooting and Gateway.

Nice to know there are some fellow TFLers familiar with a range "just down the road."

Planning on being at the next action pistol match at the end of this month.

Perhaps we could plan on getting together then and just have a good ol' time killing paper and knocking down some steel.

Anyone interested?
