Hello, folks.

I hadone of Jack Weigand's Interchange-L barrel sytems installed on my 686 and I love it.

I bought a 3"-barrel and a 5"-barrel. They are very easy to interchange between the two. Installation took about three to four weeks. It shoots well, and the craftsmanship is excellent.

For those of you who haven't dealt with Mr. Weigand, he's a nice guy and makes great products. The Interchange-L systems is a good deal, so check it out.

Wow, General, what a neat set-up! Mr. Weigand is pretty neat and does lovely work, and those prices are astonishingly low.

Too bad I can't get this done for my j-frame! I'd love a 3" bbl to go with the snub . . .

You should have bought a Dan Wesson. Interchanging barrels takes a couple minutes at most :D

The M27 is the N (large) frame. The L's are the 586/686 series and I think the new 696 5 shot 44 Special.

To bad he doesn't offer this for the GP100.

Edit: changed the 4 shot to 5 shot 696.

Thanks for the plug, LOL! I am finally starting to run out of the Interchange L barrels. When I did the prototype barrels everyone loved them and wanted some. When I actually made them demand dried up quickly. Sometimes when something is a little to far out of the ordinary people are afraid to purchase, I think that is what happened here. There are no plans to make any more of the barrels so if you think you would like one now is the time to order. I have a few of every size remaining in stock,$59.95 is actually what the units cost me to manufacture them.

Installation. The only thing we are offering is the following. If you ship us a bare frame and crane we will do the barrel locating cut on the front of the frame and install the ball lock for $50 plus return shipping. We are no longer accepting complete firearms. We have gotten out of the custom Pistolsmithing business and are concentrating on manufacturing.
