I just picked up a 22 tip up, I bought it as another piece in the collection. I've never seen one of these in person, and thought it was pretty cool. Does anybody know anything about these little pea shooters?

Even if you cannot post any pictures, give us all the numbers, nomenclature, barrel length, etc. on the pistol.

Welcome to TFL !

Stevens made several different tip-up models, between 1864 & 1935, so a REALLY thorough description and/or pics would most likely help determine what you have.

BTW - Please don't even think about exactly when your was made.
There are NO factory production records surviving, so the best some Stevens-knowledgable folks can do is to quote an approximate range of when the particular model was known to have been introduced and/or discontinued.

Please note that many of these guns (I have one, too) were made for .22 Long and were intended for use either with black powder or semi-smokeless powder.

Use of modern .22 Long Rifle ammunition can damage them very quickly.
