I had asked earler about my 1913 sauer. It is a 7.65mm with a serial number of 19797. A man in my area told me that it's a 92-94% very tight very clean. I would like some help with date and value. also would anyone know if it could be a ww1 or ww11. This is my first old one I like it I may start picking up more. I love the old stuff.

It is either late WWI or just post-war. If wartime with an Imperial acceptance mark, it is worth about $300-350. If it doesn't have the mark, or it is a post-war commercial, it is in the area of $250.

Here is my Imperial accepted JP Sauer 1913

The mark is on the right side of the pistol behind the trigger guard on the frame. IIRC this is only place for the mark for these pistols

Its the character on the right. The Crown / N is a nitro proof meaning tested for use with nitro cellulose gunpowder.
