I own a S&W 340PD, this is the scandium alloy frame / titanium cylinder 11.4 oz .357mag J frame.
This revolver is shipped with rubber boot grips and as you might expect it kicks like a three legged ninja. OUCH!
In an effort to improve control without going to .38spl ammo I've been searching for new and improved grips.
I decided to give the new Ergo Delta Grip a try.
They're hideously ugly but feel really good in my hands.
While being very nearly the same lenght as the factory S&W grips they allow three fingers on the grip instead of the two for the S&W factory grip.
The angle feels good in the hand and makes stroking the trigger easier.
The backstrap is now rubber covered.
The rubber is soft and tactile giving a very secure grip.
But my hands do not instictively go to a proper grip, yet. I have to make adjustments.
The new grips interfere with my Don Hume pocket holster but work fine in my Galco belt holster.
I like them so far but the proof will be in the shooting.
