A Arkhog New member Apr 9, 2013 #3 Model 640 The gun that you describe is the Model 640. The no-dash was a .38 spl while the 640-1 and on is of the .357 variety. Shoot all of the plus-P ammo that you desire out of these guns. The front sight is pinned. At least it is on mine.
