Well I replaced the springs on my 342PD and it made a big difference. Last week went to a smith and he quoted $50-70 for a trigger job. He only polishes the critical components and leaves the springs stock. Well he had a finished Titanium on sight, and WOW, what a huge difference. Needless to say, I am going to get him to do some work. I am trying to find someone to trade a S&W 337PD for my 342PD. I just prefer the hammer to the centennial frame.
