I have a S&W J Frame the Model 442 that I have been pocket carrying. I think I would like to try IWB carry does anyone have any good holster recommendations?

I just looked at the Theis website. He makes an IWB for a J frame. I love my Theis holster, but have to admit that I've never IWB'd a revolver.

I recently purchased a Desantis SOF-TUCK IWB holster for my 438. I was a bit skeptical due to the reasonable price, but it is very well made, comfortable and has excellent retention. I'm ordering another one for my Beretta Tomcat.

I too recently got a sof-tuc for my 642 and was suprised at how well it does, and it was only like 17 bucks from midway

IWB for S&W J frame

I have Nossar IWB Roto with snap-on belt loop. Beauty. Pricey. Long wait.
Krammer #2 IWB with belt loops. It's adjustable using Chicago screws. Bought it back in 1992 with optional snap-on belt loop. Still going strong.
FIST makes the Rounded Front Clip holster. Clip is very strong and has "tooth" that hooks onto bottom of belt. I've been using their hybrid version (leather covered ultra thin kydex) for years. Their waiting list isn't so bad.
Alessi Talon has a waistband clip. It clips on to the waistband of the pants not the belt. Exact molding but holster tends to shift somewhat during the day.
Hope this helps.
