j-frame holster fix

For all you guys (and gals) who use the uncle mikes IWB clip on holster, i found a way to make the gun a tad more secure since they do tend to slip out easily....put the gun in the holster, then pinch the material at the top along the back strap until you get the desired tightness...then simply remove the gun and stitch it up about an inch from the top (i had my shoe repair guy do it at no charge)....you can turn the holster upside down and it won't fall out but a good pull unleashes it....

I'm not sure I'm clear on your description

Do you mean to say you stitch up the portion over the TOP-strap? IOW, where the fixed rear sight notch rests?

yes, you stitch it just above the rear sight back to the metal that covers the internal hammer..not too tight or the gun won't come out..just give it a slight fold inward and stich it there (cleaner looking than stiching it flat, less material showing)...works like a custom holster....
