j-frame hideout grips

as much as I like the grips many of you recommended, I found them a bit slippery, much like wood...but for a solution I took some light sandpaper to the right grip panel (left the left alone since it is against my skin) and gave it a bit of a roughout finish,,,now they are perfect.....no more slipping.....you might want to give it a try....doesn't discolor them much either.....

A somewhat neater solution would be to take the grips to a machine shop or auto shop, and have them beadblasted to a rougher surface.

Didn't want them too rough....defeats the purpose of nylon grips....they are just smooth enbough not to bother my skin now...i would love to carry hogue bantams but clothes stick to them and don't with these....

Greeting's All;

I prefer the Hogue Bantam J-frame grips for hide-out Smith's. They are compact, feel well
in the hand, and very much concealable.
