izh27(12gau) 2.75" vs 3" chamber

Hi everyone,I'm new here in this great forum.
I have few easy questions,if someone can help me with them:
Want to buy an izh27(Baikal) o/u 12 gauge,I was been told that there is two chamber sizes of this gun .One comes with 2.75" and there is also a 3" chambered.
1)I wonder if the 3" chambered shoutgun comes with a thicker barrel wall compared to the 2.75" chambered barrel,(Isuspect so)
2)While taking a look at the barrels ,I noticed that they are thin from the breech side (old Baikals made in USSR used to have thicker barrels)??
3)Is it advisable to shoot magnum shells in a 3" chambered <<BREAK-OPEN>> shotguns?

Thank You
