An interesting article to read, though how much has been omitted should be taken into account as well. Regardless, this is a good example of how ineffective a restraining order can be if the offender is determined.

What is really sad is that the poor girl is being denied the means to protect herself in case this whack job decides to try and actually carry out whatever it is he may be planning.

Sure hope someone at her school comes to their senses.

I can assure you Dartmouth is not going to allow her to carry a gun unless they are required to by law.

Let’s hope her stalker spends the next few years in jail so she can finish her education at her desired college. Sadly the Every Town folks and other gun control advocates really seem to care little about her personal plight and just using this to push for more gun control. I wonder who’s really fighting a “War on Women”.

Academia requires complete compliance to their rules

The days where free thinking and tolerance are long gone. My school allows free speech only in a certain area, with strict guidelines on decibel level, number of participants, etc. etc.
they would rather the young woman was raped and murdered rather than give up their right to control the student body. Even a huge settlement by the victim's heirs will not change their attitude. A court order would. But they'd still do this utmost to discourage armed resistance in this type of situation.
 
With her talents, she could get a free ride at a lesser school - I say move. One thing is certain: She shouldn't get any special treatment - the rules are the rules for everyone, right or wrong (in this case wrong, as of course these lefties are just creating sitting duck killing zones).

Take note: He said they want to make their students feel safe ... not be safe. Here's a hint for Mr. Justin Anderson: Perception does not always coincide with reality. Making someone "feel" safe does not make them safe and, in fact, may actually make them more vulnerable by engendering a false sense of security.
