Iver Johnson Model 66 Trailman

Hey guys, I just bought a Iver Johnson Railman from a gun show in Lima Ohio, and I'm having a couple issues. The cylinder doesn't always rotate when I cock the hammer back, and I have to move it with my hand till it clicks into the right spot, then pull the trigger and it goes. Then the cylinder is really beat up on the back from firing it a lot (not my doing), and I want to replace the cylinder, but I can't find any online. I tried gunparts.com and a few other sights. It's an eight shot, so I wondered if I could try a different cylinder in this gun. Is this a possibility?

A good gunsmith might be able to repair it, but even if it's fixed, it will still be a pretty much worthless 20 (or more) year old gun

Snyper-
How much would that repair cost me (roughly). And I find value in the gun, because I'm a huge Webley fan, meaning I love break action revolvers. I love this gun, but I want it to fire every time I pull the trigger when there's a round to be fired. Besides, I had 6 offers for the gun on my way out of the show

It's impossible to say since parts are nearly impossible to find, and there's no way of knowing exactly what's wrong

Only a gunsmith who can put his hands on the gun will be able to tell you anything.

The best thing, if you just really like the gun, is to find another one that works, and keep yours for spare parts
