These were fine utlity guns in their time, and many a meal has come to table because of them. A meat gun in the finest sense.
Many of these are too old and worn for much shooting.Some also have 2 1/2" or 2 9/16" chamber instead of the now standard 2 3/4 or 3".
PLEASE have a good gunsmith go over the piece before you try shooting this.
If it is safe to shoot, please do so. There's lots of fun and usage in these old family guns.
