Iver Johnson .22

Bullshooter

New member
A friend of mine has asked me to assit him in determing the value of a ,22 revolver that belonged to his grandfather. It is a seven shot, top break, nickel plated small revolver with black (plastic or hard rubber) stocks. There is no model identification visible. The SN is 156XX. Any help you could provide would be appreciated.

A seven shot IJ would be unusual, as most were 6 or 8 shot. Without more info, it is difficult to provide much information, but as a general rule, IJ top breaks go for less than $100, unless brand new in the box. The older (c. 1900) will bring even less. There is very little collector interest, though most IJ products were reasonably well made.
