Hey Ozruger, welcome to TFL!

I don't have an Iver to check, but most single shots have a release mechanism in the forearm. Look for a metal arm in the center of the forearm, recessed. Most SS simply use the lever for a pull down release. If no lever or button, try pulling down on the forearm itself. One of mine has this feature.

Once the forearm is off, simply release the barrel (as if to load) and the barrel is usually free at this point.

Hey, someone else who actually has one of these! My grandfather passed his on to me, and it's proven to be a great Trap gun for me. To disassemble the Champ, you simply pull down on the forearm, and it'll pop off. Then you push the lever on the tang to the side, as you normally would to load the chamber. After the action breaks open, just grab the barrel and push down/pull towards the buttstock. It'll pop right off.

Doesn't get much easier than that. :) Enjoy your excellent shotgun!
